While upholding Hoyt’s Vision, Mission, Strategy, Management System, Policies, and Management Commitments, the HR Assistant is responsible for improving and maintaining internal HR needs and providing support to employees. The HR Generalist will collaborate with other members of the HR team to develop employee programs, staff internal positions, improve processes, and organize events. As part of the Hoyt HR Team, the HR Assistant will provide guidance and assistance to employees regarding insurance benefits, payroll deductions and system management utilizing multiple HRIS systems to maintain over 200 employee records . Ensuring employee satisfaction by providing immediate solutions and timely resolution to questions. Also responsible for on-boarding processes for all new employees.
Full Cycle Recruiting
· Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
· Screen resumes
· Perform in-person and phone interviews when needed
· Perform reference and background checks with HR team
· Coordinate interviews with the hiring managers if needed
· Follow up on the interview process status
· Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
· Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
· Backup p rovider of onboarding and new hire orientation
HRIS Management
· Process HR/Payroll transactions into HRIS systems, execute reports, queries and audits and perform necessary actions to update and ensure integrity of the employee data with HR team
· Work closely with Payroll to ensure payroll process is completed timely and accurately with HR team
· Provide guidance and assistance to managers and employees relating to HR and Payroll policies, employee benefit programs and other employment information. Responsible for providing accurate information and direction regarding policies and procedures
· Oversee the maintenance of employee personnel files and records in compliance with retention requirements with HR team
· Assist in maintaining Human Resources employee record system (HRIS)
· Assist in conducting employee orientations, on-boarding, benefit orientations and enrollment for eligible employees as needed.

· Job Postings – Post and update requested jobs on Hoyt and other job boards (KSL, really, and CareerBuilder) forward resumes submitted via the HR email to corresponding managers
· Employee Purchases – Be a backup to process Hoyt, Easton, & Foundation employees ordering Hoyt & Easton product. Receive order forms, place orders, receive product, match orders with products received and process payments from employees. D eliver orders and receipts. Update Hoyt and Easton folders with new catalog information and create new pricing spreadsheets as needed.
· HR Operations – Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions
· Complete implementation and troubleshooting of the applicant tracking module in Kronos UKG Workforce Ready
Training and Education:
· Some college or business school training preferred
· HR Certification, SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
Technical:
· Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· HRIS experience required, preferably using Kronos WFR.
Required Prior Work Experience:
· 4 years experience in Human Resources
· 2 years experience in recruiting and onboarding
· Preferred experience working with a manufacturing environment
